• IMMUNIZATION AND WELLNESS CARE

  We strive to prevent illness whenever possible. The time and effort invested in Wellness programs has rewards for both pets and owners. Our Wellness programs are designed specifically for your pet and include: Comprehensive physical exam; internal parasite testing; heartworm and flea control; vaccination program; spay and neuter package; and specialized blood tests for all life stages.

• 24-HOUR HOSPITAL CARE

  Emergencies can occur at any time. Our doors are open to emergencies 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with an on-call veterinarian ready to help your pet.  If your pet has critical injuries and requires intensive around-the-clock care, our veterinarians will direct you to the Columbus Veterinary Emergency Service or the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine after immediate stabilization of the patient has been performed.

• INTERNAL MEDICINE

  We cover all areas of internal medicine, including: Cardiology; Ophthalmology; Neurology; Dermatology; Gastroenterology; Orthopedic surgery; Oncology; Endocrinology; among others.

• SURGERY

  We offer a wide variety of both soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries, including: cranial cruciate ligament repairs and bone pinning and plating; heated surgery tables for greater comfort; safe anesthetic protocols tailored to the individual pet's needs based on pre-anesthetic evalutaion and blood testing; ECG and respiratory monitoring during surgery; intensive post surgery care for those patients that require it; and timely referrals to board certified veterinary surgeons in Columbus for those procedures that we do not perform at our facility.

• DENTAL CARE

  Regular professional cleaning is important to maintaining your pet's teeth. We use modern and safe ultrasound to clean each tooth thoroughly - above and below the gum line. We polish teeth to create a smooth, lustrous tooth surface more resistant to plaque buildup. Fluoride treatments help strengthen enamel and reduce tooth sensitivity. Advanced dental care is available, including root canals, caps and braces on a referral basis.

• HOSPICE/EUTHANASIA SERVICES

  Saying goodbye to a long-time friend is painful. We work with clients to ensure their pet's comfort and dignity. Services include taking care of the remains as directed by the client.

• RADIOLOGY

  Radiology – or X-rays – help our veterinarians evaluate muscular-skeletal, cardiovascular(cardiopulmonary), gastrointestinal, reproductive and urinary systems.

• ULTRASOUND

  This non-invasive, state-of-the-art technology uses sound waves to painlessly examine specific internal organs, primarily the heart and abdominal organs. Pregnancy exams are also available.  We are able to submit short video clips and still images to board certified radiologists for consultation on challenging cases.  We routinely obtain ultrasound guided biopsies of masses and diseased organs in the abdomen to gain diagnoses which previously would have required major abdominal surgery.

  Veterinary patients feel pain and discomfort under the same circumstances as people do. We know that recognizing and alleviating pain in animals is the essence of good patient care.

• MICROCHIPPING

  Microchips have helped reunite thousands of pets with their families. We offer the most widely used microchip products to increase the chances of a safe recovery.

• BOARDING

  Pets are like our children – we feed, nurture and lavish attention on them. Our highly qualified kennel attendants do the same when you can't be there. We provide tender loving care (such as brushing and cuddling), and supervised outdoor playtime to keep them happy and active.

• BATHING

  Treat your pet to a luxurious bath. Our special, cleansing baths remove dirt, debris and that doggie pet odor – your pet will feel fresh and revitalized. If scratching is a problem, our medicated baths contain soothing agents that stop the itching. Services also include nail trim and ear cleaning.
