Reception Area

This is a view of our open and spacious reception area. There is a large reception desk out in the waiting area for easier check-in and check-out. The room has five windows for a large amount of natural light and ventilation. There is a dividing wall between cat and dog waiting areas and there is a scale to allow for convenient weight monitoring.

This is another view of our reception area showing our convenient product display for Hill's dog and cat foods along with other food and treat items.

Exam Room

This is a view of one of our four exam rooms. Each room has a sink, a computer for quick record retrieval, a stainless steel wall mounted exam table and a bench for client comfort. Each exam room is adjacent to the large lab/pharmacy area.

Pharmacy

This is a view of our large pharmacy area with open medical shelving for convenient access to the most commonly used pharmaceuticals. There are also a large number of wall and base cabinets and plenty of counterspace. This area contains a refigerator for vaccines and other biologicals. This area is adjacent to the large treatment area and has easy access to all four exam rooms.

Laboratory Area

This is a spaceous laboratory area where we perform microscopic evaluation of fecal flotations, tissue aspirates and urine samples. The large amount of counter space allows us to keep visual aids and brochures close at hand for client communication.

Radiology Room

This is a view of our separate radiology room. The x-ray unit is new and has a floating table top for easier patient positioning. This should allow us to take high quality radiographs with minimal stress to our patients. The room will also contain our ultrasound unit and has a separate smaller x-ray developing room.

Surgery Room

The surgery room has two stainless steel surgery tables. While most of the equipment has been transferred from our other location, a brand new surgery light is pictured here along with a new cautery unit and anesthesia machine. The room is reserved for sterile surgeries only and is adjacent to the surgical pack sterilization and preparation area. There is a built-in pass-through cabinet where surgical instruments, suture material and other surgical equipment will be stored to help minimize traffic into the surgery room. Patient's will be anesthetized, clipped, and prepared for surgery in the treatment area and then transferred to the surgery room to also keep the surgery room as clean as possible.

Treatment Area

The treatment area is where the largest part of our daily patient care is completed. It contains three exam tables; two wet tables and one regular exam table. There is an Intesive Care area with an oxygen cage for our critical patients and for surgical recovery. This will allow close observation througout the day of those patients who are the most ill. We perform dental cleanings on one of the wet tables and other minor procedures are performed here as well. The room is adjacent to both the dog and cat wards for our hospitalized patients.

Intensive Care Unit

This is a close-up view of our intensive care station. Our new oxygen cage is the upper left cage. We can attach an oxygen concentrating unit to the door and provide high oxygen levels for our patients who are having difficulty breathing.

Canine Hopital Ward

This room contains two banks of stainless steel cages for our smaller patients and there are five three by six feet runs for our larger patients. There is a food and water preparation area and there are three windows for natural light and ventilation. This room is reserved for hospitalized and surgical canine patients.

Feline Hospital Ward

This separate feline ward helps us to isolate our cats from the stress of being housed with our canine patients. There is a large bank of stainless steel cages with built-in cabinets above. There is a large viewing window from the treatment room into the cat ward to maintain close observation of our sick and surgical recovery feline patients.

Isolation Ward

This room allows us to keep animals with contagious diseases for critical care without exposing other patients in the hospital. There is a small bank of stainless steel cages with cabinets built in above.

Basement Kennel Runs

This is a view of the basement kennel runs for larger dogs that board at our facility. The room contains a large amount of natural light and the floor is coated with a seemless epoxy material. The kennel walls are painted with epoxy paint for easy cleaning and disinfection. On the other side of the runs are two banks of stainless steel cages for our medium and smaller boarding dogs. There is a separate room in the basement for cats that will be boarding.

Close-up View of Kennel Run

This is a close-up view of our larger kennel runs. Each run has its own individual drain in the corner for easy cleaning. The walls are coated with epoxy paint and the floors are also covered with a seemless epoxy material. These surfaces are ideal for cleaning and disinfection and the floor is less slippery than concrete.
